We always love collaborating with like-minded brands to help elevate the dining experience for our customers. Take, for instance, our recent partnership with a well-known floral brand. It wasn't just about boosting their sales (although that was certainly a bonus). We also delighted our customers with a special offer that added a touch of unexpected charm to their meal kits.

The Challenge

The floral industry can be particularly competitive, especially around key holidays. Following a successful partnership with one of our HelloFresh brands, a renowned floral company approached us looking for a way to distinguish themselves in the market. They wanted to scale up, test, and target a larger sample size to better understand their audience. We came up with a solution to help them achieve these goals. 

The Approach 

We used our HelloFresh insert program to boost brand visibility among our customers: 

  1. HelloPerks Inserts Program: Recognizing the competitive landscape, we decided to utilize our HelloPerks promotional inserts program to optimize audience reach. 
  2. Collaborative Design: The HelloFresh team collaborated closely with the floral brand to design a package insert with a compelling offer, eye-catching graphics, and a clear call to action.
  3. Volume and Reach: A total of 500,000 inserts were distributed via meal kits to help spread brand awareness.
  4. Exclusive Discount: To help entice our prospective customers, we included a $30 off promotion that would go towards a purchase of their choice. 

Results and Impact

The collaboration yielded impressive results, underscoring the value of strategic partnerships and targeted marketing efforts:

  • Revenue Boost: Revenue for the brand rose by $26,000+ since the initial test, with the Average Order Value increasing by $21. 
  • Rise in Sales: More than 990 sales were generated from this campaign.
  • Increase in Conversions: The brand saw a .19% increase in the conversion rate after partnering with us. 

It was clear that scaling up with HelloFresh was a winning idea for this floral brand as we captured a wider audience and drove higher engagement. The brand was so pleased with the outcome, they wanted to collaborate again across all our portfolio brands to promote their subscription program to a whole new audience.
